	Description A window or door guard is placed over an existing window or door to typically add security. The guards come in different series depending on the customer’s needs. The guards can be mounted to the inside or outside of the window or door depending on the customer’s needs. For windows, we offer stationary or fixed guards with the option for a fire release with a push button to make the window guards operational. Screen can also be added to the guard to add decoration and also relief from the sun. Guard Styles Railroad Guard Series This series is built with two ½ x ½ inch horizontal bars with ½ x ½ vertical bars overlapped and mounted flush to the window. This guard offers basic security. These guards are not available to operate and open. •  Basic security •  Two ½ x ½ horizontal bars •  ½ x ½ vertical bars spaced 4-5 inches apart •  The bars over lap each other •  Attached to frame of house •  Non-removable •  Powder coated finish •  One way lag bolts Secure Series This series is built with a full 1-inch mitered frame with ½ x ½ vertical bars welded to the frame with a ¾ inch strap to add security for over sized guards. These guards are mounted to the frame of the home flush to the window. This guard offers highest level of security. These guards can be made to operate and open. •  Highest level of security •  1-inch mitered full frame •  ½ x ½ vertical bars spaced 4-5 inches apart •  The bars are welded to the frame •  Attached to frame of house •  Non-removable •  Powder coated finish •  One way lag bolts Fire Releases for Window Guards We build window guards that open in order to meet fire code. Any bedroom on the first or second floor must have a fire release on at least one of the windows in each bedroom. Also any fire exit must have a release on the window. For commercial application there is no code but our company puts a fire release on commercial window guards to allow crowds an alternative exit than the posted fire exits.
